Raw hides are tanned in pits with natural tannins from tree bark, roots and flower pods and left for about 40 days. The end result is an ecological, natural and durable leather that makes each piece unique.

Vegetable-tanned leather will develop a patina in which marks and scratches will fade over time, leaving memories that make your bag truly personal.

How do you care for your leather bag?

To prevent leather from drying out, cracking or fading unevenly, try to protect it from direct heat and sunlight for extended periods of time.

Step 1: Remove dirt and dust Using a soft cloth, wipe the surface and every corner of your bag's leather.

Step 2: Apply nourishing beeswax-based milk Using a clean cloth, apply the milk delicately and in a single, very thin layer to make it penetrate well. This step will protect your leather bag from drying out as well as nourish and waterproof it.

Rain

We recommend that you do not expose your new value to (heavy) rain. However, when your bag gets wet, never dry it with a heat source, such as a radiator or near a fireplace. Instead, clean your bag with a clean dry cloth and let it dry quietly and naturally.

Color

Leather is a natural product. This means that color and texture can vary from one product to another. Because we use the vegetable tanning method, colors may change over time as it develops a patina. This means that each product is unique.

Storage

When not in use, we recommend that you line your bag with tissue paper to keep its shape and then store it in its cotton bag in a dry place, out of the sun.
